Public guided tours

Guided tours are offered every evening during Lights in Alingsås. Our 35 professionally trained guides will take you round the lighting installations and give you the chance to learn more about the Lights in Alingsås project itself as well as the of the town of Alingsås. The tour takes approximately one and a half hours. The public tours are in Swedish only and you can buy your ticket at Alströmerska Magasinet from 5 pm. We accept a maximum of 40 persons per tour and guide.

Private guided tours

Many people have found it an advantage to book their own guide at a given time. In so doing, you can combine your guided tour with other team-building activities, dinner in a restaurant or a break at a coffee shop, visiting an exhibition or attending a conference. To make life easy – make your reservation through the Lights in Alingsås head office and have everything included on one invoice.

The recommended maximum number in one group is 35-40 persons / guide.

We offer guided tours in the following languages:

Swedish, English, German, French, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian and Turkish.

Special tours

Tours for people with hearing impairments.

If you have a hearing impairment, let us know in advance and you can walk a public tour with T-coil equipment. Bring your own hearing-aid. Places are limited so please pre-book with the Lights in Alingsås head office.
