REGISTRATION FOR THE WORKSHOP OF 2025 is open!

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Please read the following information carefully before submitting your registration at the bottom of this page.

The workshop week is organized between Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 4, 2025. All participants must be present for the entire duration.

Arrival
We recommend you to arrive in Alingsås on Friday, September 26 to ensure that you will be on time for the first meeting on Saturday morning. The workshop starts with a two-day session of seminars held by lighting designers, university professors and other people of interest. The purpose is to bring more theory in the workshop process.

Information
Practical information on what to bring will be sent by e-mail, in good time before the workshop begin to all participants, and one month before arrival via the Lights in Alingsås workshop app, via SMS.

Cancellation
Your registration is binding. Cancellation is only possible if the participant can provide evidence or give specific reasons that show the cancellation is beyond the participant’s control. In the latter case, up to one month before the workshop begin, 75% of the workshop fee will be refunded. Since the spots for the workshop are in high demand and the number of participants that can participate is limited, we reserve the right to approve the registrations.

WORKSHOP FEES 2025

If you are a student and want a guaranteed spot in the workshop, or if you are not longer a student but still want to join, you can register and pay the workshop fee by yourself.

All fees must be paid before arrival. An invoice will be sent by e-mail in the beginning of June, when we have confirmed your registration.

Workshop fee for confirmed scholarship students: 0 SEK (Student ID required). Please note that “camp standard” accommodation is included in the fee for confirmed scholarship students.

Workshop fee for students and young professionals: 4200 SEK inc. VAT (Student ID required). For you who still is a student or have recently graduated. Please note that accommodation IS NOT included in the fee for students and young professionals.

Workshop fee for professionals: 7100 SEK inc. VAT. Please not that accommodation IS NOT included in the fee for professionals.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE WORKSHOP FEE

Jacket, gloves, water bottle, reflective vest, gloves, giveaways, educational sessions, seminars, “camp standard” accomodation (for confirmed scholarship students) and a certificate.

Arrival: September 26 – afternoon/evening
Day 1: September 27: (Seminar, day 1) – Light breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 2: September 28 (Seminar, day 2) – Lunch
Days 3-6: September 29  to October 2 – Lunch
Day 7: October 3 – Lunch, dinner and party
Day 8: October 4 – Lunch

CONFIRMED SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT?

Before choosing the option “confirmed scholarship student” in the form below, you must have sent a
scholarship application to Alingsås Energi before May 18 (CET), 2025. Once you have received a confirmation that you are receiving a scholarship, you can choose this alternative.

ACCOMMODATION

Due to the irregular working hours during the workshop, it is of the utmost importance that all participants are staying in central Alingsås.

If you are a confirmed scholarship student, you don´t have to arrange with your own accommodation. All confirmed scholarship students will be staying together in Gymnastikens hus, in the same Gymnastics hall (no 1). Shared both boys and girls. “camp standard” on air mattresses or folded guest beds. Practical information on what to bring will be sent by e-mail and SMS one month before the workshop.
