The planning is in full swing for Lights in Alingsås 2026, the 27th edition.

We often say that as soon as we take down the last light fixture from the tree, planning for the next edition begins. So where are we in the process right now?

• The lighting trail is almost finalized. We are in contact with various property owners and the Municipality of Alingsås to identify the best routes and locations to illuminate.
• The theme name has been decided, and our communication agency is now sketching out the visual identity and graphic design.
• This year’s lighting designers have been selected. In late March, they will come to Alingsås to learn about the theme and the trail, choose the site they want to work with, and develop a concept for the autumn.
