Thank you for this year!

We welcomed visitors from Alingsås, neighbouring municipalities, as well as from Stockholm, Uddevalla and various parts of Halland. It is wonderful to see people of all generations coming together year after year, from groups of friends and families accompanied by dogs, strollers and walkers.

A summary of this year’s light festival:

✨ 60,000-65,000 visitors
✨ A 3.5 km illuminated trail
✨ 6 workshop installations
✨ 7 Highlights
✨ More than 100 guided tours, including public tours, singles tours, corporate and group bookings, sponsor tours, as well as tours arranged at retirement homes throughout Alingsås Municipality.
✨ 166 people (across 90 rides) had the opportunity to experience the festival using Alingsås Municipality’s electric passenger bicycles, pedalled by 20 dedicated volunteers.

A warm welcome back on October 1 2027, when the 28th edition of Lights in Alingsås will be officially inaugurated!
