Lights in Alingsås 2026 has now officially opened!
To the tune of Dolly Parton’s song “I Will Always Love You,” the 27th edition of Lights in Alingsås was officially inaugurated on Friday, 2 October.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us at Åmanska Park and then continued on to experience this year’s light installations on the theme Stories of Love.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the photograph students from Hjälmared Folkhögskola, the bakery students from Alströmergymnasiet, the members of the band Flyrakan, sign language interpreter Ika Andersson, speaker Maria Standar, master of ceremonies Fredrik Wizemann, Nolhaga Konfektyr, as well as staff from Alingsås Energi and the Municipality of Alingsås.
Lights in Alingsås will now illuminate the city until 1 November. Welcome! ✨
