The lighting designers of 2020

Now it’s official!

On Friday, March 27, the project group for Lights in Alingsås met this year’s lighting designers for the first time during the concept meeting. This year, it was held digitally, due to the circumstances of the Coronavirus, Covid-19. Each designer got to choose which site they want to illuminate this fall and during the weekend they started sketching on their concept.

Out of 34 applications, it will be these seven designers who will lead six workshop groups this fall:

Anuj Gala, Finland & Rogier Hengeveld, The Netherlands

Craig Spring, USA

Jessica Krometis, USA

Luciana Alanis, Switzerland

Rodrigo Muro, Sweden

Sara Ortega, Spain
